Honeycomb conveyor belts, also called flat wire conveyor belts, consist of crossbars and flat metal strips. On the sides of the belt, the crossbars have welded rings (welded edges). In some sizes, the belt sides can have tightly fitting edges. Several predefined belt implementations exist, with different pitches and material dimensions. Side plates or scrapers can also be provided. The flat wires are arranged in a grid pattern and connected to straight round bars.
