Ceiling Divider Art Panel, Railing Infill, Feature Screen |
The matte black reading of a spiral diamond weave. Because the coating is nearly flat, the pattern is carried by shadow rather than by reflection: the spiral intersections hold a soft shade line while the open diamonds disappear into the background. Used overhead, this makes a ceiling divider read as a graphic layer instead of a solid plane.
On a high gloss finish the wire highlights catch the light and the mesh looks denser than it is. At 5 to 8 gloss units the wire faces stay dark and only the silhouette registers, so a 58 percent open panel appears lighter and the ceiling behind it stays visible. This is the finish most often chosen for interiors where the mesh must not compete with the lighting design.
The double wire spiral at 20 mm pitch is what allows a 1220 x 2440 mm panel to hang without an intermediate support. The two wires at each intersection share the load, which keeps the diamond aperture uniform from the centre of the panel to the edge. Aperture is held within 1 mm across the full sheet.
The 20 x 20 mm frame is deliberately minimal so that the panel reads as mesh rather than as a framed object. Fixing is by concealed cleats on the top rail plus adjustable hangers, which allows levelling across a 2400 mm span. For railing use the frame can be reinforced at the base rail without changing the visible section.
Matte black shows handling marks more than light colours. Panels are packed with a peel-off film and we recommend leaving it in place until the panel is hung. Minor scuffs on matte coating cannot be polished out, so a small touch-up aerosol from the same batch is included in each crate.
