Reasons
High-temperature mesh belts are generally used in environments with temperatures above 900 degrees Celsius. Therefore, there are generally several reasons why stainless steel conveyor mesh belts become longer in such environments.
1. Material placement overload
During the use of high-temperature mesh belts, materials need to be placed evenly on the mesh belt to avoid accumulation or uneven distribution of materials. Overloading in the long run will not only cause the stainless steel conveyor belt to stretch and deform, but even tear the mesh belt, affecting production progress.
2. High temperature environment
When stainless steel conveyor belts are operated for a long time in a high temperature environment, the mesh belt material will experience slight thermal deformation due to the thermal expansion effect. This thermal deformation may cause the metal mesh belt to stretch, which will have a certain impact on the performance and life of the conveyor belt.
3. other reasons
In addition to the above two reasons, there are other points that need attention.
①, whether the flatness and thickness of the mesh belt are consistent
②, whether the edge of the mesh belt is firm
③, check whether the tension of the mesh belt is uniform
④, the promotion of the tight state
⑤, whether the tensile strength of the wire winding and threading of the production mesh belt is compliant
Improvement measures
After the high temperature mesh belt is put into use, these changes are inevitable, but some measures can be taken to reduce the lengthening of the mesh belt.
1.Installation and Debugging
When installing the metal mesh belt, heating it at a lower temperature will help the mesh belt gradually adapt to the temperature changes in the working environment and prevent thermal stress or deformation caused by rapid temperature changes. The initial heating speed should not be too fast, and a stable and slow heating speed should be maintained.
2.Regular truncation
During use, it is necessary to regularly shorten the mesh belt that is too long to control its length within an appropriate range to avoid affecting the use effect due to becoming too long or too large.
3.Worker operation
After the high-temperature mesh belt is put into use, it needs to be corrected and adjusted regularly according to the specific production environment and the workers' operations.
